The show was on the importance of cancer-fighting anti-oxidants. The equipment he used to measure the levels in his studio audience gave each person a color-coded score. The scale runs from red to blue with red having the lowest score and blue the highest. Each member of the audience wore a T-shirt which correlated to their score. Guess what color over 90% of the audience wore? RED! In a sea of red shirts, there was one or two with blue or green.
What does this mean? It means that the American diet is seriously deficient in antioxidants. And where do we get them? Fruits & vegetables. Think of the old phrases – an apple a day keeps the doctor away ? Not really. If you have a low level of antioxidants your body’s cells are practically defenseless against disease. All kinds of disease. This includes cancer, heart disease, diabetes and the list goes on.
So what do you do? Once you have a baseline score, you have something to work with. Until then, you are in the dark; you are basically clueless. Are your supplements working? Are you spending money for vitamins that are not keeping your body’s defense level up? Find out. This is vitally important to your health and longevity.
